Here’s My Journey
Running has been one of the most transformative forces in my life. Yet my journey hasn’t been linear. Before becoming a Run Coach, I built my early career at Goldman Sachs, which shaped my discipline, resilience, and mindset as I was training for races while working a demanding job. Running became a non-negotiable part of my life. A space that was entirely my own.
I know what it feels like when your alarm goes off at 4am and you have a long day ahead, but you desperately want to hit the snooze button because you worked late last night. I know what it feels like getting up in the dark, cold winters or rainy summer mornings and you have no other choice but to get yourself out of bed to get in a workout because it’s the only time you have for yourself before the workday begins. I know the sacrifices, turning down Friday night plans so that you are ready for your Saturday long run, and the challenge of staying healthy and motivated through the ups and downs of long training cycles and life’s unexpected twists and turns.
The good news? It’s all part of the journey. It’s a shared, universal experience. And I want to be here to support you along yours.
Life will always get in the way and present difficult decisions and competing priorities. Family. Friends. Relationships. Careers. You name it. These responsibilities aren’t going to go away. The goal is to learn how to integrate movement and personal ambition into a balanced, fulfilling lifestyle.
The beauty of living in such a fast-paced city is that you and I are more similar than you might think. We are high-achieving individuals striving to be better today than we were yesterday, searching for ways to create space for a grounded and purposeful life through movement. Over the years, I have explored different modalities from crossfit to indoor cycling to hot yoga. I realized that these all contributed to a well-rounded, sustainable lifestyle while running remained my anchor.
What began as a personal challenge evolved into a passion and a powerful tool for growth that has translated into every aspect of my life. I ran my first marathon in NYC in 2023 after gaining entry through the lottery, and little did I know how deeply I would fall in love with the journey. The race itself was just simply the celebration. Since then, I have gone on to run the Chicago, London, Berlin, and Tokyo marathons. Along the way, I have faced unexpected roadblocks from injuries to personal life changes. These experiences reinforced an important truth: the journey isn’t linear, but it’s worth it every. single. time.
So what’s the secret to not giving up on yourself and your goals?
How will you stay committed even when life gets in the way?
That’s what we will discover together.
One foot in front of the other at a time.
