I completed a 12-week half marathon training program with Jen as my pacer, and she made such a difference in my experience and my results. She brought a calm, steady energy that helped take the pressure off and made every run feel more manageable, even when we had intimidating long run workouts ahead of us.

Jen was incredibly reliable with pacing. I always knew I could trust her to keep us right on track, which gave me the confidence to stay focused and push myself when it mattered most. She was such an encouraging presence, always showing up with a smile and the kind of positivity that lifts the entire group.

Thanks to her consistency and support, I not only hit my goal time on race day, but also achieved a 17-minute PR from the same race a year prior! I’m so grateful to have had her guidance throughout the program and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and motivating coach.

I first met Jen as a pacer for the Bandit program, and she quickly became a trusted source of advice and support for training. Jen understands that building an athlete requires far more than just hitting paces. In my experience with her as a leader, she went above and beyond to provide guidance on training, from fueling and hydration strategies to recovery and mindset.

Jen respects that being a runner means being resilient and dynamic. She is a massive source of mental support, recognizing that every athlete is a unique individual with their own training needs, challenges, and wins. Her approach proves she doesn’t just see a person by how many miles they run in a week. Jen sees an athlete capable of growth!

I met Jen early in my running journey, while I was training for my first marathon and just starting to understand what structured training could look like. She helped me see the purpose behind each workout, and made some really tough sessions feel more manageable with her encouragement, positivity, and steady support.

Since then, I’ve seen her help so many athletes grow in a way that feels sustainable, building a strong foundation rather than chasing one big effort at the cost of enjoying the sport. Jen played a real role in helping me build a love for running that has stuck with me ever since.

I honestly don't know if I would have made it through my first marathon cycle without Jen. I met her my first week in the Bandit program, and even though training for the NYC Marathon felt like way more than I could chew, Jen was this constant, warm presence.

There was one day where I had a really bad run. I had to stop, and I was just sitting there feeling totally defeated. Jen was actually pacing a different group that day, but she must have seen the look on my face because she stopped to check on me. A few minutes later, I looked up and saw her running back toward me. She spent the rest of the run by my side, just talking me through it. She knew I was in a bad head space, and she stayed until I was okay.

As both a teammate and eventually a mentor, Jen has been one of my biggest motivations in getting back into the sport of running. Her peaceful nature when pacing and training me really taught me to let go and let the results come on their own. Eventually, this method resulted in PRs that exceeded every expectation I had for myself. She’s a true testament that the journey is bigger than the result itself.

Before running with Jen, I was training with a larger group and coaches, but I didn’t know how to fuel, when to fuel, I didn’t foam roll, go to PT, or even buy the right size shoes.

Looking back it’s funny now, but no one else took the time to share the unspoken running “no-brainers” that make the biggest difference.

Training for the 2025 NYRR Brooklyn Half with Bandit Running was my first experience following a structured half marathon program—and my first time incorporating speed work into long runs. Having Jen as my pacer made all the difference.

Jen has a unique ability to hold her athletes accountable while creating an environment that feels both supportive and motivating. She shows up consistently, week after week, and is incredibly accessible to her athletes—both during runs and outside of them—always available to offer guidance, answer questions, and help navigate the physical and mental challenges that come with pushing beyond your comfort zone.

Her grit is undeniable, and she leads by example in every sense. Jen brings a positive, can-do attitude to every run and inspires those around her to show up with that same mindset. I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to structured training or a more impactful coach to guide the experience.
